Solutions Sales Representative

Newcomp is looking for a BI (Business Intelligence) Solutions Sales Representative to help our firm aggressively grow within our market space in Canada. 

We focus exclusively on selling Cognos' best-of-breed business intelligence solutions to medium and large sized companies. Cognos is recognized as the leading BI vendor worldwide and enjoys a great reputation based on leading technology, good service and a large loyal base of satisfied customers!

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of business-to-business software sales experience

• Proven hunting skills in lead generation

• Proven measurable success in developing a territory 

• Full sales-cycle experience 

• Successful experience initiating complex sales involving multiple influencers on buying decisions 

• Superior written and verbal communication skills 

• Highly motivated "Can-Do" attitude

Desired Skills:

• Experience selling enterprise solutions (BI/ERP/CRM)

• An understanding of issues facing businesses within many industries

• Strong passionate interest in a long-term Software Sales career

• Strong technical interest in computing and software applications

Education:

• University Degree (Business focus preferred ie. B.Admin/B.Comm/MBA)

• Completion of formalized Sales Training.
