Most successful projects are not determined by the quality of the software tools selected but are usually the result of a well-designed plan delivered by an experienced and capable team!

Our job is to help facilitate the discussions around what are the key drivers of the business and to help create the technology infrastructure to provide the right data to the right users to create business value and project payback.

Our team utilizes a proven methodology, which provides a roadmap to transform business requirements into a successful solution. This roadmap is facilitated through a series of steps;

Requirements Gathering – this is the most important step of any project. Requirements gathering requires experience, knowing the right questions to ask and how to consolidate requirements into a well thought out project vision.

Design – Our experience has given us valuable insight on how to best structure the solution to optimize the user experience, ensure ease of administrative maintenance and provide a modular solution that can be added to in the future to ultimately create a complete Enterprise solution that will eventually touch all areas of the business.

Implementation - After a good plan and design, the implementation phase requires the most significant amount of time and resources. Newcomp has a full complement of technical resources available to our clients to build and implement the solution.

Unlike other firms that contract temporary resources on a project specific basis we pride ourselves having created an organically grown team of talented people that work well within your team environment and will be available to your organization throughout the lifecycle of your CPM investment

Delivery - Good planning, hard work and a successful implementation require the bulk of effort and resources. However, delivery is an often-overlooked area and should be viewed as an opportunity to create awareness and excitement for the solution. In addition, careful documentation in the form of operations documents for administrators and customized user documents can alleviate fears associated with adoption of a new solution.

Knowledge Transfer – Projects are not deemed successful unless our clients have not only have internally mastered the functional aspects of maintaining a solution but have truly learned the concepts so that they can build and leverage our solution so that they can build upon initial successes thereby lowering the cost of ownership as the technology expands within the company.

Path Forward – At the conclusion of each project, a careful review and analysis should be undertaken to not only identify future goals for improvement but to identify how the project has moved the organization closer to the long term strategic goals. CPM is not a product but a process that will continually evolve and take on a life of it’s own. Our most successful clients also happen to be leaders in their industry and have become so through the effort of achieving long-term goals.

Good solutions involve good technology, good people and good process, let us share with you our proven path to project success!
